Joy Efe Odiete is the CEO of Blue Pictures Entertainment.
She is an Award-Winning independent film distributor, film sales agent and aggregator for streaming platforms such as Netflix, Amazon, and other independent platforms around the world, who possesses over 21 years’ experience in the film industry across Africa and the International Market.
She is also a renowned industry festival speaker, both locally and internationally. e.g, Nigerian International Film Summit, American Film Market, Monaco Film Festival, etc.
Joy holds a degree in Business Studies, a Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, and membership in the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria. She began her career as a sales executive at NuMetro media store, rising through the ranks to reach the prominent position of Head of Operations for NuMetro Film Distribution in only six years.

About the Conference
Our Previous Next Gen Mini Conference, which had a successful maiden edition was themed 'Next Gen Evolve.' We strongly believe in the importance of deliberately including the next generation as they represent the hope and future of our industry.
Our vision is to facilitate a generational trajectory shift within the industry and educate young filmmakers on the right principles of film business, ethical standards, and best global business practices.
