Nollywood produces more than two thousand movies in a year. Due to its popularity on the internet, it is a rapidly expanding industry and has experienced tremendous growth over the past few decades. With localization techniques, people can now access and consume Nollywood content, therefore, localizing content is becoming one of the key components to widely distribute and increase revenues. However, many Nollywood producers are facing new challenges to fulfil the international technical standards. To remedy this challenge, Blue Pictures, Nigeria’s foremost film distribution company Is planning to organize a two-day masterclass that will expose Nigerian producers to the various techniques on internationalization of content.
